*Everybody’s shocked*: Oh my gosh?? Gina’s finally done her homework=P That’s right, people, I’ve made new art, and three new pieces, even. What a miracle=P First I want to blog, so you don’t just see the art and then run off. Lol, I’m just kidding=P
I thought it was about time to make a new update, and I promised new art, so it wouldn’t be so boring. The activity has been a bit slow around here lately, which I totally understand. It’s not fun for me either, not being able to make art. But I also understand these are busy days, with exams and such before the summer holiday.=)
Anyways, thanks for all the congratulations I got for my birthday, I had a fun day. We celebrated it over two days, because not everyone was able to be here on the actual day. My mom took me out shopping yesterday. I bought a couple of summer t-shirts on sale, both yellow, one with a strawberry on and various text, and the other one with just the words: Juicy Summer=) Then I bought a pair of shorts to wear with my bikini and I bought two new CD’s. Travis’ newest one and one of my favourite Norwegian pianist; Leif Ove Andsnes. He’s truly amazing, and the cool thing I discovered was that the CD actually contained a song I have played too, when I was in 9′th grade, Suite bergamasque - No. 3 Clair de Lune. I played it for a music project we had in school, where I had to read a poem I’d written and paint something to go with the song and poem. I painted a moon over a city. I remember I loved playing that song, it’s very special, if you ever hear it. Anyways, here’s Leif Ove Andsnes’ website, he’s got some clips so you can hear how wonderful he plays: http://www.andsnes.com I wish there’d been a fanlisting for one of my favourite composers; Edvard Grieg. I don’t really like running fanlistings myself, but maybe I should make one. His compositions are amazing. Now, I won’t bore you with more piano stuff=P
I’ve gotten better at driving stick, or gear, as some of you call it. My dad says I’m very good, especially when I’m angry and under pressure. Haha. One time I had to stop for a pedestrian, and when I was about to take off again, I put it in the fourth gear instead of the second (don’t ask me why, it’s too much to explain=P), and I got really mad at the “stupid car”, as I called it, and pulled the gear so hard. And then my dad said to me I’m good when I’m angry=P Plus I had a car behind me that stressed me up. I still don’t like driving though, there’s like a heavy load lifted off my shoulders the minute I’m done.
Queenie tagged me to do this game: set your iPod to shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that play, without skipping any, and at the end, tag 5 other people to do the same: I’m listening to my new CD right now, so it’s all Leif Ove Andsnes=P
1. 13 Pieces Op.76 - No.2 Ètude - Jean Sibelius
2. 2 Impromtus Op.14-No. 1 - Alexander Scriabin
3. The Golden Age Op.22-Polka - Dmitri Shostakovich
4. Songs without words - Felix Mendelssohn
5. Ständchen - Richard Strauss/Walter Gieseking
6. Humoresque Op.6 No.3 - Edvard Grieg
7. Ich ruf’ zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ - J.S. Bach/Ferrucio Busoni
8. Impromptu No.1 in A flat Op.29 - Frédéric Chopin
9. 3 Liebestraeume S541-No.3 - Franz Liszt
10. Suite bergamasque - No.3 Clair de lune - Claude Debussy
Now, I’ll tag: Minna, Taru, Ragnhild, Sara and Ivana. As the other ones’ said, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. It’s just for fun=)
NOW, to the fun part you’ve all been waiting for, unless you’ve skipped the blogging part. Hehe=P I don’t know, maybe it’s been so long, but I’m beginning to feel like I’ve lost my touch. Have I? I mean, in one way I look at the pieces, and I’m thinking it looks too easy, then the next I think: I like easy and I kind of want it to be that way too. Atleast I didn’t get the feeling it wouldn’t turn out good. If I make something I know is going to be crappy, I notice it very early, and I throw it away. I didn’t this time, so maybe that’s a good sign? Hope that wasn’t too complicated to understand=P
Have a nice day and weekend. Enjoy!

I’m so sorry, I’ve made all these excuses and promises of some new digital art, but alas, nothing new this time either, except some new photos. Maybe not as interesting as digital art, but that’s all I have for now, plus some blogging to get of my chest=P
Now, the point of this update’s header: I hate driving stick. My dad thinks I’m good, but I still hate it, and he says I give up too easily. Why do I even bother? I can just spend the rest of my life taking the bus/train/boat and save the climate. If I ever get a husband, I’ll make him drive. Haha=P
Well, the waterfall photos didn’t turn out the way I wanted them to, since I can’t use a small blender opening, but the one of the Månafossen Waterfall turned out quite good with freezed water too. This previous weekend I got to borrow my sister’s Canon EOS 350D camera. Which you can see some river photos with and I have one new photo taken with that camera, the one with poppies on. In case you’re wondering what the light around the poppies are, it’s because the poppies are so hairy=P
Our family have decided to redecorate our current used bathroom, and make a new bathroom downstairs, in the basement, this summer, during the vacation. That way we can use the one downstairs, while we work on the main bathroom upstairs. I’m looking forward to it, and I’ve already made a sketch for them. It’s so much fun planning everything=) The one bathroom we have now is over 20 years old, we’ve never redecorated it, so it’s about time=P
I’ve been able to save some money lately, and I’ll keep on doing so until I need them for school and next year’s University application. I’m so late, I’m almost 20 years old and I won’t start studying properly before I’m 21! And might not be graduated until I’m 27. Lol=P
I’m so sorry I don’t have any new graphic art, I know, it’s boring … I’ve been busy working, taking driving theory lessons, and we’ve been celebrating my father’s 55′th birthday this weekend. Fortunately I have all of you, my friends, to vosot and admire your amazing art and talent, so I still keep in touch with you. I hope you all had a great weekend!

Well, we all need them, can’t live without them, hate them (at least I do) and we all want more. Money=) That’s the big headline this week for me.
I’m selling my 4 years old scooter to my sister’s boyfriend, because I don’t need it anymore. I’ve decided to start walking and bicycling instead. I only use it to drive down to the quay to take the boat to the city or down to work, and that’s about 1,2 miles away. Anyways, he’s already borrowing it and wants to buy it, so why not? I think I can atleast earn 1,300 dollars. I could probably get 1,600-1,800 on the market, but when a “relative” wants it, I’d feel bad not selling it to him.
I also bought myself a webcam, finally. I will only use it talking to close friends, though. I’ve never been fond of those webcams, but I figured it was ok if I just used it with the people I know. I just bought a cheap one anyways, I wouldn’t dream of spending much money on such a thing. I need to start saving, more than what I already am doing.
Now, I’m beginning to feel the limits of the camera I bought last year, which my photos come from. I had no experience, so it was a good camera to start with, but now I could really use a slr camera … The Canon 400D isn’t so expencive. The Nikon D80 would be great too … I don’t think I’ll buy a new one in the near future, but one can always dream and hope=) It’s just that the Canon Powershot S3 IS has limited options when it comes to aperture (blending) and ISO values. I’m very fond of landscape photos, but this camera is more of a close-up (macro) and ultrazoom camera. I can’t take good landscape photos with it, because when I’m trying to combine the shutter speed with the aperture, it just doesn’t add up when I want a low shutter speed, and the aperture doesn’t go any further than f:8,0. I just don’t get why they made such a great shutter speed variety, when the aperture doesn’t get any smaller than f:8,0. I need the f:16 and the f:22 etc… And the lasting of the batteries on this camera is just ridiculous. I changed the batteries last week, and now I have to do it again! On the slr cameras they say you can take up to 700 photos before the batteries need to recharge. And how much do I get on this camera?? No more than 20-30 photos! OK, I’ll stop=P
I have some new photos, which some of you have already commented on. I’ve done a bit of experimenting with x-pro (cross processing) and HDR (High dynamic range imaging). Unfortunately, I only have the trial version of Photomatix to do the HDR, so the image has Photomatix written all over it. I want to buy the pro software, but so far I can only buy it abroad, and I don’t have a VISA card for that. I can do HDR in Photoshop too, but the result is not satisfying enough, which you can see compared to Photomatix here: http://www.hdrsoft.com/images/cs2/comparison.html
I’m gonna try to shoot some waterfall photos this coming weekend. I’ve been waiting for the right time to do it, and I’ll keep my fingers crossed that I’ll be able to this weekend.
It’s almost end of the week, so have a great weekend, everyone. Love you! *Hugs*

Hey=) I’m blogging as I’m sitting at my computer at work, so we’ll see how long this update will be. And how much I remember from these past weeks=P
First of all I want to talk about the clichè subject; the weather. Remember I said it was so warm here a couple of weeks ago, I could just wear a t-shirt? Well, just the week after it started to get colder again, and it even snowed for a bit! Yes, you heard right, it snowed… Not that it stayed, but still …(???!!!) It’s slowly getting a bit warmer again now, but talk about scary climate changing … *chills*
We finally got our two cats emasculated. We also bought a remedy stuff to put in their fur against those blood sucking creatures. Urgh=P Poor little kitties. I felt so bad for them when I left them at the vet. We picked them up later the same day, and the minute we got out of the car at home, they recognized their home and went completely bananas of excitement=P You seriously couldn’t tell they’d just had a minor surgery. Hehe=P We also got a number tatooed in their ears, so if they get lost, the finder will have a number to look at. Their ears were all green and their paws too, because they tried to clean it off themselves, the little cuties=P
My mom found Pelle sitting on the kitchen bench this morning (a stricktly forbidden area!), watching the running water in the sink, the little bastard=P He totally ignores our rules … Just to fill you out on how Sam’s doing too; he’s extremely busy watching over this little hole out in the garden, where he suspects there’s a mouse hiding. It’s so cute to watch him from the window=)
I went to a councellor at the private school I’m thinking about applying to this fall. He was very nice and helpful, and assured me that they would help me with all the application forms and paperworks that’s needed for me to go to med. school in Poland. The courses I will be taking this fall are: 1. Physics, 2. and 3. Biology and 2. and 3. Chemistry. Phew … I’ll do my best. He said my grades were very good, I think he would have said it straight to me, if he didn’t believe I’d make it.
Btw; here’s the University I’m thinking about attending, for the interested: http://www.am.edu.pl/english/
I have been so busy out in the garden these days. My sister, mom and I are planning on making a new rose bed. I’ve been a fan of roses for a long time, and my latest fandoms are the English and historical roses. I’ve picked out a few sorts for the new place; Leonardo da Vinci, Maiden’s Blush and Brother Cadfael, are some of them, for those who are interested in the names=P Excuse me for getting so excited when talking about gardening=P
I have two new photos, feedback is highly appreciated! I experimented a bit with the colours and sharpness in PS. The weather has been so crappy when it comes to lighting hence to the photographing, so I haven’t taken that many. I’ll see if I can take some this coming weekend, they say the weather should be nice then. Let’s see if they’re right=P And thank you so much for the comments about the Lupinus photo. It’s a record for me when it comes to comments and invites to groups at Flickr. I didn’t think it was that exceptionally good, so yay for me!
And one more think: Paula is back with a gorgeous site, so be sure to visit! http://poetic-beauty.com
I’ve just recieved a hosting space at her domain, so I’m going to finally put up the Ivana fanlisting again, which has been down ever since my previous host closed down.

The title says it all. I have had so much fun lately and most importantly I’ve finally figured out what to do with my life. I’ll tell you all about it further down=)
Firstly, the skiing weekend was great. None of the other people that we spent the weekend with were going skiing, they wanted to go snowboarding and stuff. So my father, my sister and I went for ourselves. Personally I like this type of skiing the best because you get the extra exercise aswell. My legs were killing me the following days=P And to answer a question some of you were wondering about; we drove up to a mountain chain a couple of hours from where we live to ski, there’s not snow here now. There’s about 11 celcius down here. Anyways, we were planning on skiing during the Easter break too, but there’s really not much snow left up there now, maybe for snowoarding, but not for skiing. Guess I’ll have to wait until next year.
Pelle disappeared from home Tuesday last week. We were so worried about him, but then he finally came home Thursday. I got out of bed the second I heard my mother letting him in at 9 am in the morning. Thrilled! We’ve arranged for an appointment to get both our cats castrated next week.
Now, on to the exciting part, atleast for me=P I have spent this schoolyear trying to figure out what I want and what I should apply for at Uni. Nothing appealed to me, nothing… But then an older sister of a friend of mine suggested that I should study medicine in Poland. Medicine has always been my dream, but here in Norway it was impossible, because the grades were too high, and mine were not as good because of all the operations and stuff=P BUT, I really think I’m going to try this out. There’s a looooot of things that needs to be done, loooot of papers to get in order. But on the bright side, I have a Polish aunt that can help me with the difficult matters, and the private school I’m going to attend to this fall will help me with the application and housing, etc. The studies will last 6 years. Of course, it will be a lot more difficult than it would be to study in Norway, but with the right preparations and “attitude”, I don’t think it will be impossible if one really wants it. There’s a lot of Norwegian students in Poland, and about 200-300 of them studies medicine, mostly because they couldn’t get in in Norway. And they say that these students have more knowledge than the students that graduate from medicine studies in Norway. For those who didn’t know, I’m going to take classes in Chemistry, Biology and Physics this fall, which are special requirements to get in to med. school. Then hopefully I’ll be ready to go to Poland by next year’s fall. How about that, now?=P
Thank you all for the wonderful comments about my photos. You are so sweet! Here’s two new photographies and one new collage. Enjoy! And Happy belated Easter. Thank you for all the wonderful cards! I’ve put them in my gifts section. *Hugs*

The title says it all. I have been so absent-minded lately. Forgetting to update here, visit my affiliates, which I finally did last night=)
This won’t be a long update, because not much has happened. I’ve been busy working lately, so I haven’t done much. We did go on a skiing trip this past weekend though, my family and I. We went to a cabin that belongs to my sister’s boyfriend’s parents. It was fun. The cabin lies just beside a place where a big skiing event takes place at this time of year. It’s called Sesilåmi, and basically what they do is ski 31 miles and the finish line lies just a couple of miles from where we were. So we sat down after skiing for a bit and cheered for the contestants passing us. Some looked very exhausted, not surprisingly, though, after skiing over 30 miles=P
I’m actually going on a skiingtrip this coming weekend too, AND someday during the Easter break. I love skiing and my sister, my father and I just bought ourselves new pairs. The old ones were from the 80’s or something. Not to mention my dad’s! They were probably from when he was in his 20’s or something=P It took a long time to convince him that he needed a new pair=P Anyways, the new ones are great! I’m going to a sports shop today to buy a new pair of skiing trousers and a pair of skiing gloves. I have none of the mentioned from before, I used to wear a pair of thick winter trousers and gloves which are not very flexible when skiing, I tell you=P
And finally; Tada! A new layout. The previous one had been up since last fall, so it was about time to change it. And if you haven’t noticed yet, the flower photo in the top graphic is taken by moi! Hope you like it. Also, I made a Latest photos space in the sidebar, so you can all be much easier updated with the latest photographies I take=)
Now, I have made new link buttons, so if you want to change them, please feel welcome to do so. I’d be very happy, because the old ones are uuuugly=P
I added a new photography I took last Sunday. Enjoy=)

Yes, it’s time for an update. I had several things I wanted to blog about. But I guess I’ll just have to see what I remember=)
First of all, I have added more photos to the collection I have here. I got many good comments about the Crocus one, so I hope you’ll like it too. There will probably be coming a lot more photos than graphic art in the coming future. This doesn’t mean I’ll stop making blends and such, it just means that there will be coming new photos more often than new art. Does that make sense?? I still love blending, but now I also love photographing. A new addiction of mine=P
Other than that, I’ve started working out again. For some reason I can’t remember, I stopped about a year ago. But now my sister and I run for half an hour every other day. In the weekends, we run up the hill behind our house. It feels really good getting back in shape again=P Gotta be ready for the summer season, I guess. Even though I really don’t care=P
Also I’ve started practising for my driver’s licence. I know, I’ve been putting it out for four years now … But I really didn’t feel the need to start earlier, like everyone else, and none of my parents had the time, they’re so busy all the time. I’m starting the official lessons in May, so I will hopefully have my driver’s license by the end of summer/early autumn, before I start school again. Or at least, that’s my plan.
Finally I could afford the Lord of the Rings Soundtrack, the complete recordings. I love it! It’s like listening to the music for the first time again, because it’s almost completely different when it hasn’t been edited. I laughed the first time I heard the music during Bilbo’s birthdayparty. You really can’t hear much during the movie, because you’re too busy watching what’s going on, and it plays so silently. But the reason I laughed is because it suited the whole Hobbit world so well. It was so cheerful and playful=P Anyways, many of you probably don’t know what I’m talking about anyways. Hehe.
I went to the movies and saw Black Diamond. It was an excellent movie! I am no big fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, but he played brilliantly in that movie. Awesome! I loved his accent=) Best movie I’ve seen this year.
Sorry for the late update, the whole family went away for the weekend, to a cabin a few hours from here. It was fun and relaxing. But it takes me just a few hours before I miss Sam and Pelle. I can’t help it, but I love them so much. Anyways, they’re allowed to stay inside the house while we’re away. And when we come home, we meet the two most grumpy and offended faces you’ve ever seen, because they wonder where we’ve been, without them=P

Hi everyone. How have you all been?
I have something new for you. Under Artfolio, you will find a new section called Photos. It is a small collection of my favourites among the photos I’ve taken since I got my new camera. Someone had been suggesting that I should show off my photograhs here. My thanks goes to that person, you know who you are=P I’m always flattered to get such wonderful feedback for what I do.
And I also hope you like my latest blend.
Well, the storm has already been here for a couple of days now… Finally the power is back so I can write an update. The electricity has been shutting itself off and then on again today. I can’t let my cats go outside, because I’m afraid especially Pelle will be blown away. He’s as light as a feather. Sam’s so heavy, I don’t think he is to worry about=P
I have been working a lot lately, so I haven’t had a chance to update until now. But today I have to stay home and watch the fireplace, so it won’t burn out. I’m doing this because of the electricity situation …
I bought myself a new mobile phone this week. The batteries in the old one were getting really worn out, and there’s no point in spending so much money on a new battery, so I bought a new phone instead. I still think Nokia is the best you can get, and I always will=P
Other happenings … My friend from school last year, came home during the winter vacation we have here now. She goes to a folk high school in another part of the country. So I was excited to see her again, and we went to the movies. She wanted to see Night at the Museum … I said ok …=P
We were planning on going out tonight, but she got sick, so we can’t …=( I was really looking forward to it.
